What’s Included?
Students will love practicing rounding whole across four interactive games. Each game includes 11 problems, for a total of 44 questions to keep learning active and engaging:
-
Activity: 1: Flower Power
Students draw a splash of water on the flowers that round to the nearest 10,000 at the bottom.
-
Activity 2: Feed Me, Feed Me!
Students drag or draw a line from each food to the correct animal so the animals get the correct foods they want. Students do this by rounding each number to the nearest 100,000 and sort the foods appropriately.
-
Activity 3: Party Time
Students are given a “nearest million” at the bottom of each page. They need to write numbers on each balloon that would correctly round to that million. This is great for abstract and more critical thinking.
-
Activity 4: Right or Wrong?
This game is one of my favorites in the entire series! Each unicorn has rounded their number the way they think it should be rounded. Students have to use their error analysis skills to decide if the unicorns rounded correctly or not on each page. They put a check or an X on each one to indicate their thinking. Each page has a variety of rounding practice because some unicorns round to the nearest 10, 100, 1000, 10,000, and so on.
