What’s Included?
Students will love practicing place value across four interactive games. Each game includes 11 problems, for a total of 44 questions to keep learning active and engaging:
-
Activity: 1: Fill in the Blank
Students are shown an equation that has a blank missing number in it. They have to figure out what value of 10 (10,100,1000, etc) goes in the middle based on the other two numbers.
-
Activity 2: Peanut Butter and Jelly
This is a multiple choice game where students decide which answer is correct. When they find the correct answer, they color that bread in with jelly to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich!
-
Activity 3: Place Value
Students tell the value of each digit in a large number. This is great practice with recognizing different place value columns.
-
Activity 4: Popcorn Problems
Students color in the popcorn bucket and the kernels that go together the same colors. An example might be 9000/100 (popcorn kernel) and 90 (bucket). There are multiples of ten questions included for both multiplying by 10s and dividing by tens.
