Students are given a rectangle and have to figure out the length of the missing side given the area. No word problems. Great review from 3rd grade.

  • Activity 2: Perimeter: Missing Sides

Students are given a rectangle and have to figure out the length of the missing side given the perimeter. No word problems. Great review from 3rd grade.

  • Activity 3: Find the Answer

Students use multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division to figure out the length of the missing side given the area or perimeter. This is great practice with both operations. When they finish each question, they get to draw in an item too!

  • Activity 4: Missing Sides

In this activity, students get practice with area and perimeter word problems. They solve to find the length of the missing side given the area or perimeter.

  • Activity 5: Solve the Word Problem

Students read the word problem and look at the picture. They have to decide if they are solving for the area, perimeter, or a missing side based on what is stated.

  • Activity 6: Same Area or Same Perimeter?

Students read the word problem. They then fill in the rectangles with the correct measurements before figuring out the area and perimeter of both. They then decide if the two rectangles have the same area or same perimeter.
