WHAT’S INCLUDED? (PRINT AND DIGITAL)
Game 1: Place Value Addition
Students use the place value blocks to add. Then, they type the equation and answer in the green boxes.
Game 2: Leap Frog
Students use the place value blocks to figure out the answer and type it in the box at the bottom.
Game 3: Bubble Time
Students find the sum of each equation using the models. Then, they type the answer in the white box.
Game 4: Red Light, Green Light
Students figure out the sum of each equation using the picture in the box. Then, they put a circle on the correct answer.
HOW TO IMPLEMENT:
There are 11 problems included in each of the 4 games (total of 44 questions).
Digitally: The first problem is always an example for students so they know what to do. I would recommend completing 5 questions during your lesson together and assigning the other 5 for students to complete independently.
Print: Print the task cards out and put them in a math center. Have students record answers on the recording sheet provided. Students can use the self-checking answer key to check their work. You can choose between the color and black and white option.
